I see that you have omitted Jeroen Krabbe who is known from films like The Fugitive and The Living Daylights. Krabbe to be fair may have retired, but I can't really say for sure. I know that he was born in Amsterdam. In the Fugitive he played the villainous Dr Charles Nicholl, whilst in the Living Daylights he played General Georgi Koskov a rogue Russian military man trying to trick the MI5 and 007 played by Timothy Dalton into killing General Pushkin.

I remember some of those words from my childhood. My parents used the word overgeven for vomiting. Your accent is different to my parents'. Maybe because they grew up in Indonesia, and my dad's family returned to the Netherlands just before the war, and my mum's family returned after the war. We all migrated to Australia when I was very little. I barely know any Dutch.
